Jennifer Onoyeyan

For the past twelve years, I have worked in early childhood centers, private schools, early intervention agencies, public schools, and one on one care. Most recently, I worked as an infant teacher and private nanny seeking ways to improve not only children learning but child development by incorporating psychology and education together in my teaching style. I believe that no child learns the same and benefits from individual assistance in order to maximize their learning and growth in a certain area. My passion has been moving towards extremely practical skills like executive functioning in association with learning that goes beyond the classrooms and into the growth of the child despite learning-related conditions.

What gets you excited about Parallel?

What gets me excited about Parallel is that it offers so many important services like tutoring, therapy, and counseling all under the same platform. This is so exciting because as a teacher, having different professionals under the same educational umbrella offers a valuable opportunity for learning amongst each other in a way that wasn't possible before. I can enrich my teaching by learning from the counselors and therapists that are also associated with Parallel and learn from their perspectives as well.
