About

Christina

What advice would you give to a family who is on the fence about signing up for a learning assessment (or counseling/therapy)?

I understand how terrifying this can be for families. We are all afraid about being vulnerable and asking for help. However, please understand that change is hard and terrifying but taking those baby steps is crucial, there is strength in vulnerability and there is nothing more powerful than being your authentic self. Asking for help doesn't mean something is wrong, it just means you need support getting through a tough time

Why are you passionate about helping students with learning differences?

I love working with them because they often feel out or sometimes they tend to think less of themselves. In reality. they are just differentially abled and unique. My goal is to be a facilitator in their journey of defeating their challenges and unlocking their dreams.

What would you say to someone who is very anxious about learning problems in school?

Understand that everyone has different sets of struggles. Do not be discouraged, instead let's identify your area of struggles and then lets' together come up with a plan to overcome those challenges.
