Helena is a licensed Masters's Social worker in the state of Illinois with 5 years of professional work experience. She received her Master of social work in counseling from the University of Illinois University- Carbondale with a concentration in Health and Mental Health. Helena has experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, child-parent relationship training, trauma, and abuse, & motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. She believes in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. She is passionate about normalizing mental health treatment and improving access to mental health care for all. Helena is originally from West Africa, Ghana to be precise. She was raised in Ghana and Chicago. Helena is from a family of 8 and she’s the 3rd child. Helena is married and has a 10months old baby.
