Jessica Hupp

Hi, I'm Jessica. I'm a speech-language pathologist with seven years of experience serving primarily elementary-aged students. I love working with children to identify ways to improve their communication with family, friends, and teachers. I especially enjoy helping students with apraxia and severe phonological impairments. I am excited to begin my teletherapy journey with Parallel!

I enjoy reading, hiking, and spending time with my husband and toddler.

What would you say to someone who is very anxious about learning problems in school?

If it wasn't challenging, it wouldn't be learning. We are all on our own path to learning new things, myself included. If your path looks different than others', that is okay! My job is to help find the path that works for you.

Why are you passionate about helping students with learning differences?

I think it is beautiful to see the confidence that effective communication can provide a student both in and outside of the classroom.

What was your path to becoming a provider?

I always knew I would be in a helping profession. When I discovered speech-language pathology, I felt it was the perfect blend of science, creative thinking, and devoted service.
