Katherine M. Cintrón Sánchez
My name is Katherine Cintron Sanchez. I'm from Puerto Rico. I am currently finishing a master's degree in school psychology. I've had amazing experiences with kids from different ages while doing my bachelor's in psychology and being a gymnastics coach. Each one impacted me in a way that my passion to help kids and family grew even more and that led me to decide that I wanted to become a school psychologist. I did an internship at an elementary and middle school in Puerto Rico where I put my competencies to practice by administering psychoeducational and psychological assessments.
I love spending time at the beach surfing or just walking with my dog Blue. I think that connecting with nature helps us have better mental health. I enjoy music, movies, and spending time with my family.

About
Katherine
I would tell them that their feelings are valid and that they are not alone. I would remind them that they have a support system here at Parallel who will help them thrive in their challenges in school.
I am passionate about helping students with learning differences because I believe that every child should feel empowered even if they have a learning differences. That way they will all thrive in their academic journey.
What gets me excited about Parallel is how they empower kids with learning differences. And how I can connect with different families around the United States without having to leave Puerto Rico thanks to the remote mode.
