Kimberly Cortes, M.S. CCC-SLP

Kim Cortes

For nearly a decade, I have had the honor of serving clients from ages 2 to 99. As a bilingual SLP, I enjoy working closely with my Spanish-speaking clients and their families, to ensure they not only receive appropriate services, but also gain knowledge in what speech therapy is and how to improve communication skills. My primary work had been with preschool-age children with a variety of diagnoses, but I have also worked alongside older children, as well as adults who are navigating acquired conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury and more.

What was your path to becoming a provider?

Watching my older sister struggle with a speech delay, as well as having the opportunity to observe some wonderful SLPs in action, really sparked my passion for this profession.
