About
Maria
I am passionate about giving children their childhood back despite their learning and emotional/behavioral disorders. I believe in early intervention and providing children with the tools necessary to overcome their learning challenges.
I understand your angst. My son Maddox has a diagnosis of AD/HD and Anxiety Disorder. At first, the diagnosis was overwhelming; however, once he understood how he best learns, he felt empowered. Understanding your learning challenges will help you identify how to learn best.
The Parallel Learning organization will provide me the opportunity to reach out to families and children that are unable to receive a neurodevelopmental assessment despite social-economic status.
