Human behavior is fascinating. There always seems to be a connection that needs to be linked in order to feel at peace. I am good at connecting those pieces. It’s rewarding to see others feel whole.
I offer families psychoeducation before diving into therapy so everyone understands the process. No one needs to be fixed but everyone needs to be understood. Effective communication is vital. It’s not about being right or wrong. It’s about being effective.
Passion is contagious. It’s energy brings things to life. Finding someone’s passion changes the course of life. If I can show these students that it’s not about how you learn it’s That you CAN learn. Once the stigma of non traditional learning is removed, that student soars! What a true blessing to watch!
