I am a certified teacher with over 25 years of experience in education. I have a BS in Therapeutic Recreation and a Master’s in Special Education. I have worked as a Special Education Teacher, as well as a Reading Interventionist conducting one-on-one and small group literacy instruction to struggling readers and writers. I am Reading Recovery trained and love teaching and empowering students to be their best! I believe every child can learn and reach their goals with the right support. For me, there is nothing better than working with a student and witnessing that “aha moment” of clarity and success!

Outside of my work I enjoy hiking, traveling and trying new cuisine. I also like to read, decorate and keep up with fashion!
