After graduating with a BA in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, I pursued my passion of studying literacy and received a MS in Literacy Education. I am a certified reading specialist and early childhood/elementary teacher for grades K-5. I am also certified to teach students from birth to age 4. I have been teaching for 7 years and have education experience with students of various demographics.
I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband, daughter, and dog. We love hiking, going to the beach, and the park. I also love to cook and love to read in my spare time.

Paulina
I started my career as an elementary teacher. After 5 years, I became an intervention teacher and reading specialist. Reading has always been my passion and my goal is to help struggling readers. Every student learns differently and Parallel supports this concept.
Students with learning differences can lack confidence and it is our job as educators to give them the positive reinforcement to ensure that they have a strong sense of self-worth and confidence. All children should have the opportunity to learn in their own way. It is important for these students to discover what works for them and the tools they need to support themselves.
